The primary question every marketer has to answer for their customer is “What’s in it for Me?” The WIIFM, as it’s known. No one will believe you, buy from you, be loyal to you or pass along anything about you unless you can answer that question for them. As a marketer, you need to influence expectations of your product, not overpromise on something you could never deliver.
Taking a page out of my marketing career, I hope I become someone that you get to know and trust, and maybe even like. I’ve done a bunch of stuff in my life, and I’ve decided that while I have a background in marketing and advertising, I have a passion for all things medical and wine. So this blog is going to be a mash-up, like me. I know about a bunch of stuff, so I’m going to write about a bunch of stuff. Hopefully it’ll be stuff you’ll like and comment on.
